การประยุกต์ใช้ Google for Education ในการให้คำปรึกษานักศึกษาสายครู

Abstract

บทความนี้เป็นการนำเสนอประสบการณ์และวิธีการจากการประยุกต์ใช้ Google for Education ในการให้คำปรึกษานักศึกษาสายครู ทั้งนี้เพื่อแก้ปัญหาในเรื่องของ เวลา สถานที่ และระยะทาง ในการติดต่อระหว่างอาจารย์ที่ปรึกษาและนักศึกษาสายครู ในขณะที่เรียนอยู่ในมหาวิทยาลัยจนกระทั่งออกไปปฏิบัติการสอนตามโรงเรียนต่างๆ โดยเครื่องมือที่นำมาใช้ ประกอบด้วย 1) กูเกิลคลาสรูม (Google Classroom) สำหรับสร้างห้องเรียนออนไลน์ เพื่อเป็นช่องทางในการติดต่อสื่อสาร ติดตามผลการดำเนินงานของนักศึกษา ตรวจสอบผลการลงทะเบียนเรียน การชำระค่าลงทะเบียน รวมถึงการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมต่างๆ ที่นักศึกษาต้องเข้าร่วม 2) กูเกิลปฏิทิน (Google Calendar) สำหรับใช้ในการเพิ่มกิจกรรมที่นักศึกษาต้องดำเนินการในแต่ละปี ทั้งนี้นักศึกษาและอาจารย์สามารถกำหนดการแจ้งเตือนผ่าน SMS (Short Message Service) ไปยังโทรศัพท์มือถือได้ ซึ่งจากการใช้งาน พบว่า นักศึกษาได้รับข้อมูลข่าวสารได้รวดเร็ว และได้รับการแจ้งเตือนเกี่ยวกับกิจกรรมต่างๆ ได้ตรงตามระยะเวลาที่กำหนด โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งการยืนยันการลงทะเบียนล่าช้าที่ต้องเจอเกือบทุกปี ในส่วนของการติดต่อสื่อสารสำหรับการรับคำปรึกษาก็ทำได้อย่างสะดวกและรวดเร็วขึ้น โดยเฉพาะเมื่อนักศึกษาต้องออกไปปฏิบัติการสอนในชั้นปีที่ 5 โดยเมื่อมีปัญหาหรือต้องการรับคำปรึกษาก็สามารถเข้ามาสอบถามได้ในห้องเรียนออนไลน์ได้ตลอดเวลา

This article presents the experiences and methodologies applied Google for Education in mentoring pre-service teachers with the aims to solve problems of timing, places, and connecting distance between supervisors and advisees during studying in a university until having teaching practicums in several schools. The instruments used in the study consisted of 1) Google Classroom applied as online classrooms to build channels of communication, follow- up students’ performances, monitor their courses registration, educational fee payments, including their activities involvements. 2) Google Calendar was applied to add up students’ annual compulsory activities. Within this platform, the students and teachers were able to set notifications via SMS (Short Message Service) through their mobile phones. The results of the application found that the students were notified the information in a very short time and punctually especially a registration affirmation system as considered being late every year. In terms of consulting, the communication was convenient and quick. Particularly, when the students had to take a practicum in their fifth year of study, they were able to consult and ask questions any time in the online classrooms.
