การสอนสังคมศึกษาในศตวรรษที่ 21

Abstract

การสอนสังคมศึกษาในศตวรรษที่ 21 เป็นการวิเคราะห์ สังเคราะห์และพัฒนาแนวคิดสำหรับการจัดการเรียนรู้วิชาสังคมศึกษาโดยเน้นผู้เรียนเป็นสำคัญตามหลักสูตรแกนกลางการศึกษาขั้นพื้นฐาน พ.ศ.2551 เพื่อพัฒนาผู้เรียนให้มีความรู้และทักษะที่สอดคล้องกับทักษะการเรียนรู้ในศตวรรษที่ 21 ตามหลัก 3R และ 7C เพราะเป็นสาระการเรียนรู้ที่เน้นการอยู่ร่วมกันในสังคมไทยและสังคมโลกอย่างสันติสุข การเป็นพลเมืองดี ศรัทธาในหลักธรรมของศาสนา การเห็นคุณค่าของทรัพยากรและสิ่งแวดล้อม มีความรักชาติ และภูมิใจในความเป็นไทย แม้สังคมศึกษาจะเป็นเพียงวิชาหนึ่งในหลักสูตร แต่มีสาระและหน่วยการเรียนรู้ที่ครอบคลุมการพัฒนาผู้เรียนที่สนองตอบจุดหมายของหลักสูตร หากกระบวนการจัดการเรียนรู้วิชาสังคมศึกษามีประสิทธิภาพก็จะแก้ปัญหาการจัดการศึกษาที่มีคุณภาพต่ำของประเทศได้ และสามารถพัฒนาผู้เรียนให้เป็นทรัพยากรอันทรงคุณค่าเพื่อพัฒนาประเทศตามยุทธศาสตร์ชาติ 4.0 ภายใน 20 ปี (พ.ศ. 2560–2579) อย่างแน่นอน

เนื้อหาของบทความประกอบด้วยความจำเป็นและคุณค่าของวิชาสังคมศึกษา ปัญหาของการจัดการศึกษาสังคมศึกษากับทักษะการเรียนรู้ในศตวรรษที่ 21 ครูสังคมศึกษา เจเนอเรชัน ซี (generation C) กับการสอนผู้เรียน เจเนอเรชัน แซด (generation Z) การจัดการเรียนรู้ที่เน้นผู้เรียนเป็นสำคัญ ปรัชญาการสร้างความรู้ด้วยตนเอง (constructivism) การเรียนรู้แบบลงมือปฏิบัติ (active learning) และรูปแบบการจัดการเรียนรู้สังคมศึกษาในศตวรรษที่ 21

การจัดการเรียนรู้ที่เน้นให้ผู้เรียนแสวงหาความรู้ด้วยการลงมือปฏิบัติที่นำเสนอประกอบด้วยวิธีการจัดการเรียนรู้ทั้งหมด 5 วิธี คือ 1) การจัดการเรียนรู้แบบการใช้ปัญหาเป็นฐาน (Problem-based learning) 2) การจัดการเรียนรู้แบบการใช้โครงงานเป็นฐาน (Project-based learning) 3) การจัดการเรียนรู้แบบการใช้ความคิดสร้างสรรค์เป็นฐาน (Creativity-based learning) 4) การจัดการเรียนรู้แบบสะเต็มศึกษา (STEM education) และ 5) การศึกษาบทเรียนและวิธีการแบบเปิด (Lesson study & open approach) ผู้เขียนหวังว่าแนวคิดในบทความนี้จะเป็นประโยชน์ในการพัฒนาการศึกษาของประเทศไทยให้ดียิ่งขึ้น ซึ่งครูและผู้เรียนสามารถเปลี่ยนแปลงบทบาทของตนเองและร่วมกัน

Teaching of social studies in the 21st century was from analysis, synthesis and development of learning social studies concepts by focusing on student-centered that according to The Basic Education Core Curriculum B.E. 2551 (2008). The idea was to develop the students with knowledge and learning skills in 21st century by 3R and 7C. Because Social Studies is to learn the concepts that focuses on peaceful and harmonious coexistence of the world, good citizenship, faith in religion, aware of resources and the environment value, love their country and pride in the Thai culture. Although social studies is only one subject in the curriculum but contents and learning units cover the development of students to meet the goals of the curriculum. If the learning process in social studies were efficient, it could solve the problem of educational quality in our country. Students will be the valuable resources for developing country according to the National Strategy 4.0 within 20 years (2017-2036), definitely.

The contents of this article contain of the need and value of social studies, the problem of education management, learning skills in the 21st century, the teaching of generation C teachers for generation Z students, philosophy of constructivism, active learning and learning method for social studies in the 21st century.

The author presented the method of learning to the students with active learning in 5 methods which included; 1) Problem-based learning, 2) Project-based learning, 3) Creativity-based learning, 4) STEM education and 5) Lesson study & open approach. The author hope that the idea in this article would be useful to develop the better education in our country by the teachers and students have to change their roles and joint learning activities with performance.
