แนวคิดในการจัดสหกิจศึกษาของสถานศึกษากับหลักการบริหารจัดการแบบญี่ปุ่น (Monozukuri)

Abstract

บทความนี้ได้รวบรวมแนวคิด หลักการ และแนวปฏิบัติเกี่ยวกับสหกิจศึกษาที่ใช้ในสถาบันการศึกษาต่างประเทศและในประเทศไทย เพื่อให้อาจารย์ นักศึกษา และผู้ที่สนใจเกี่ยวกับการจัดสหกิจศึกษาได้เข้าใจหลักการและดำเนินการจัดสหกิจศึกษาให้มีประสิทธิภาพ ทำให้ผู้เรียนสามารถเชื่อมโยงความรู้ในห้องเรียนกับการปฏิบัติงานจริงนอกห้องเรียนได้ ทำให้ผู้เรียนมีทักษะการทำงานมากขึ้นจากการปฏิบัติงานในสถานประกอบการ และมีความมั่นใจมากขึ้นพร้อมที่จะปฏิบัติงานได้ทันทีหลังสำเร็จการศึกษา ซึ่งสถาบันการศึกษาหลายแห่งต่างเห็นว่าสหกิจศึกษาสามารถใช้แก้ปัญหาการได้งานที่ไม่เหมาะสมกับความรู้ความสามารถของนักศึกษา และลดปัญหาการมีหลักสูตรการศึกษาที่ไม่สอดคล้องกับการนำความรู้ไปใช้ในการทำงาน นอกจากนี้ การจัดสหกิจศึกษายังเปิดโอกาสให้สถานประกอบการรับรู้ความสามารถในการทำงานที่เหนือกว่าของผู้เรียนในหลักสูตรสหกิจศึกษาและยินดีรับบัณฑิตสหกิจศึกษาเข้าไปทำงานได้มากขึ้น นานาประเทศจึงพัฒนาการจัดสหกิจศึกษาให้มีความเหมาะสมกับบริบททางสังคมและวัฒนธรรมของสถาบันการศึกษาแต่ละแห่ง

สำหรับหลักการบริหารจัดการที่เรียกว่าหลักการบริหารจัดการแบบญี่ปุ่น (โมโนซุคุริ) ซึ่งสอนให้คนสามารถคิดและสร้างงานคุณภาพได้ถูกนำมาใช้อย่างแพร่หลายในการดำเนินงานขององค์กรภาคธุรกิจและอุตสาหกรรมญี่ปุ่น มหาวิทยาลัยในญี่ปุ่นก็ได้นำหลักการนี้มาประยุกต์ใช้ในการเรียนการสอนด้วย โดยเชื่อว่าการผลิตบัณฑิตเพียงอย่างเดียวยังไม่เพียงพอต่อการสร้างสังคมที่ดี แต่ต้องสร้างบัณฑิตที่สามารถคิดและทำงานได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ และใช้ชีวิตในสังคมได้อย่างมีความสุข ดังนั้น การนำหลักการบริหารจัดการแบบญี่ปุ่น (โมโนซุคุริ) มาช่วยเสริมการจัดหลักสูตรและกิจกรรมในสหกิจศึกษาที่มุ่งพัฒนาทักษะการทำงานของบัณฑิต จะทำให้บัณฑิตพัฒนาความสามารถให้คิดเป็น ทำเป็น ต้องการพัฒนางานอย่างต่อเนื่อง ซึ่งเป็นวิธีหนึ่งในการสร้างคนที่มีคุณภาพให้สังคมด้วย

This article compiles concept, principle and practice of the cooperative education used in the educational institutions both in abroad and in Thailand. It aims to lead instructors, students and people who are interested in cooperative education to understand the concept and to perform the cooperative education effectively. Consequently, it enables the learners to relate knowledge gained in class to the job in the real world, enhances their skills while working in the enterprises and increases their confidence in order to be ready for work immediately after graduation. Education institutions have approved cooperative education as a way to solve the problems of getting a job which is unsuitable for students’ capabilities and to decrease the curriculum which is inconsistent with the application in working. Furthermore, cooperative education is to give the entrepreneurs a chance to realize the higher working ability of cooperation education students and to accept those more and more into workplaces after graduation. Then many countries have studied and developed the operation of cooperative education to be appropriate to socio-cultural context for each institution.

For the principle of Japanese management (Monozukuri), which enlightens on thinking ability and creating ability of quality products, has been widely used in the organizational operation of Japanese business and industries, universities in Japan also make practical use in instructions. It is due to the belief in producing graduates is not enough to make a better society, but in producing graduates who can think and work effectively, and live in the world with a happy life as well. Therefore, taking the principle of Japanese management (Monozukuri) to support cooperative education curriculum and activities that aim at developing graduates’ working skills, will strengthen their abilities of thinking and doing, and the desire of continuous quality improvement which is a way to make quality people for the society.
