การใช้เทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศและผลกระทบต่อห้องสมุดมหาวิทยาลัยในจังหวัดสงขลา

Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาสภาพทั่วไปในห้องสมุดมหาวิทยาลัยในจังหวัดสงขลาจากการนำเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศเข้ามาใช้ในการปฏิบัติงาน และเพื่อศึกษาผลกระทบต่อการปฏิบัติงาน ผลกระทบทางด้านร่างกาย จิตใจ และอื่นๆ ของบุคลากรตามตัวแปรจำแนกตามอายุ วุฒิการศึกษา สาขาวิชาที่สำเร็จการศึกษา อายุการทำงาน ประสบการณ์การใช้เทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ งานที่รับผิดชอบ และจำนวนชั่วโมงที่ใช้คอมพิวเตอร์ ศึกษาจากประชากรซึ่งเป็นบุคลากรที่ปฏิบัติงานห้องสมุดมหาวิทยาลัยในเขตจังหวัดสงขลาทั้งสิ้น จำนวน 120 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ คือ แบบสอบถาม และวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยวิธีการหาค่าเฉลี่ย ร้อยละ และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า บุคลากรส่วนใหญ่เป็นเพศหญิง มีอายุระหว่าง 25-35 ปี จบการศึกษาในระดับปริญญาตรี ในสาขาบรรณารักษศาสตร์และสาขาที่เกี่ยวข้อง มีอายุการทำงาน ระหว่าง 6-10 ปี และระหว่าง 16-20 ปี มีประสบการณ์ในการใช้เทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ 10 ปีขึ้นไป รับผิดชอบงานบริการสารสนเทศ และมีการใช้งานคอมพิวเตอร์ในที่ทำงานต่อวันระหว่าง 6-8 ชั่วโมง สภาพการใช้เทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ พบว่า บุคลากรที่ปฏิบัติงานด้านงานธุรการ (บริหารงานทั่วไป) ผลกระทบจากการนำเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศมาใช้ในการปฏิบัติงาน พบว่า บุคลากรที่ปฏิบัติงานด้านงานจัดซื้อจัดหาทรัพยากรสารสนเทศ งานบริการทรัพยากรสารสนเทศ งานวารสารและหนังสือพิมพ์ งานเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศและงานธุรการ (บริหารทั่วไป) ของมหาวิทยาลัยหาดใหญ่ได้รับผลกระทบมากกว่ามหาวิทยาลัยอื่น ยกเว้นงานจัดซื้อของมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลศรีวิชัย ผลกระทบทางด้านร่างกาย จิตใจและอื่นๆ พบว่า บุคลากรที่ปฏิบัติงานห้องสมุดมหาวิทยาลัยหาดใหญ่ได้รับผลกระทบทางด้านร่างกายและจิตใจมากกว่ามหาวิทยาลัยอื่น ยกเว้นบุคลากรที่ปฏิบัติงานในห้องสมุดมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลศรีวิชัย

The purposes of this research were 1) to study the general status of applications of information technology in university libraries in Songkhla province 2) to study performance impact, physical and mental impacts on staff classified by age, education degree, major, length of employment, using information technology experience, job responsibility, and number of hours in using computer, after applications information technology. This research studied from all of the population of 120 staff in Songkhla university libraries. The tool of the research was questionnaire. The statistics for analyzing included average, percentage and standard deviation. Information of the population found that mostly were female, age between 25-35, bachelor degree in library science and related disciplines, length of employment between 6–10 years and 16–20 years, more than 10 years using information technology experience, job responsibility in information services, and 6-8 hours in using computer. The research’s result of application status of information technology found that the staff who worked in general service section applied information technology the most. The impacts of application information technology for performance found that the staff who worked in purchasing information resources section, information resources service section, journal and newspaper section, information technology section and general service section in Hatyai university affected more than other universities, except information resources analysis section in Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya. The physical, mental and other impacts to library staff in Songkhla province of application information technology found that the library staff who worked in Hatyai university affected physical and mental more than other universities, except library staff who worked in Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya.
